Research and audit projects relevant to mental health legislation

Notice for R&D and clinical audit departments of NHS Trusts in England and Wales

Update Software is working with colleagues at Well Consulting and the Institute of Psychiatry on a project commissioned by the Department of Health in February 2005.

The project aims to identify all research and audit projects relevant to current or future mental health legislation that are still ongoing or that have been completed since 1 January 2003. These would be projects that might provide information that could support the introduction, implementation and future evaluation of the new Mental Health Act.

NHS-funded research projects are being identified using the National Research Register (NRR).

Unfortunately the NRR doesn't include audit projects within the NHS or research projects not involving the NHS.

We are asking for your help to find out about audit projects or research projects that do not appear in the NRR. If you think you have projects relevant to our interests, please download and complete one of forms on the right hand side and send it to Well Consulting at enquiries@thewellcompany.com
