Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) versus other antidepressants for depression (Cochrane Review)

ABSTRACT

Background: The relatively new class of antidepressant, the selective serotonin reputake inhibitors (SSRIs), may be better tolerated than the older tricyclic antidepressants. This review compares the efficacy of SSRIs with other antidepressants.
