The Renal Health Library is a unique
resource for the nephrology community. It is an electronic
and annually updated library of resources, developed by the
Cochrane Renal Group, to assist and support the development
of quality evidence-based practice and research by renal physicians,
nurses, researchers, policy makers, and other related health
professionals and consumers.

Accessing the Renal Health Library
The Renal Health Library is available free of charge via the Internet from Update Software Ltd, and on CD-ROM from the Cochrane Renal Group.
The Renal Health Library contains:
- 80 systematic reviews related to kidney disease from the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews
- over 8,700 records of randomised controlled trials in kidney disease from the Cochrane Renal Group's Renal Trials Register, including 2,700 abstracts from conference proceedings
- 80 reports of ongoing randomised controlled trials
- information about the Cochrane Collaboration, the Cochrane Renal Group and the systematic review process
- over 170 records of non-Cochrane meta-analyses
- 200 records of diagnostic test trials
- information about the Cochrane Collaboration, the Cochrane Renal Group and the systematic review process
