Therapeutic ultrasound for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (Cochrane Review)

ABSTRACT

Background: Ultrasound is often used by rehabilitation specialists as an adjunct therapy for the symptomatic treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Its mechanical energy has anti-inflammatory as well as analgesic properties.
